Happy Halloween

Shannon and I decided to dress up as zombies this year for Halloween. Wanted to share with you an easy way to do zombie makeup without having to buy expensive plastic wounds to put on your face. First we took liquid latex (bought at Halloween Spirit store) and put it on our face...or wherever you wanted nasty hanging skin. Next we covered the area with toilet paper, reapplied the liquid latex over the toilet paper, and finally added makeup. We're definitely not destined to be makeup artists, but I think we did pretty good for amateurs!

Stressed

So it's 10pm on a Wednesday night, and I'm at my laptop preparing for my students at UPS tomorrow (well, actually I'm typing this post - just taking a little break...). Work has been crazy busy - love it when I leave work knowing I still have 5 evals to type up but a full schedule for the rest of the week (sorry, non-PT types might not understand). Anways, needless to say it's been a stressful week...weeks...month...well, you get the picture. So instead of loosing my appetite, I've been snacking NON-STOP - thus, the picture. =) It did make me smile I must say. Okay, enough procrastinating, back to work!

Oh, and to top my day off yesterday, I came home to a huge mess on the floor. Tucker ripped through 2 bags of hurricane popcorn and ate all the furikake...then threw up of course!

Tired and Sore

So I spent all day yesterday shoveling and spreading mulch across the backyard of our condo. I found out 30 minutes before the mulch arrived that the person who organized it all was leaving for most of the day for a course an hour away. So...guess who ended up doing most of the work?? That's right, yours truly! Shannon and my neighbor came to help out for the last 1.5 hours or so and we were able to finish the rest of te job. I can't really complain, though, since it was sunny and warm. Great way to get a workout and tan! I must say, I am extremely sore and tired this morning, but it was all worth it!

I can't believe I'm doing this...
